Hingiss, Margaret Etta (Marriage - 7 Apr. 1956) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Hall, Jr. have returned from a two week honeymoon trip to Florida and are now at home in Cudahy. The bride is the former Margaret Etta Hingiss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hingiss, Abbotsford, and Mr. Hall is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hall, of Janesville. 
 

Their wedding took place on April 7 at the Evangelical and Lutheran church at Cudahy. The Rev. Walter Poeph performed the ceremony at 2:00 o’clock. 
 

For the occasion the bride wore a floor length gown of white lace over satin, and finger tip veil attached to a pearl crown. The bridal bouquet was an arrangement of white carnations and sweet peas. 
 

Attending her were Miss Marion Vesley, of Cleveland, Ohio, cousin of the bride, as maid of honor; the Misses Ellen Sikorski and Delores Halvorsen, Milwaukee, and Miss Doris Hall, sister of the groom, of Janesville, as bridesmaids. They were dressed in blue, yellow, pink, and green, respectively, and carried bouquets of carnations and sweet peas. 
 

Melvin Hingiss, the bride’s brother, was best man. The ushers were Elvin Haugen, Janesville, and Paul Palkus, and Wayne Halvorsen, Milwaukee. 
 

About 125 guests attended the reception, wedding supper and dance, held at the Kerlin American Legion hall at Cudahy. 
 

Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hingiss, Abbotsford; Mrs. James Vesley and Miss Marion Vesley, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. William Becherer, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Nelson, Fond du Lac; and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hall and Miss Doris Hall, Janesville. 
 

The bride, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, is employed at Cutler-Hammer Company at Milwaukee. The groom studied a year at the University of Wisconsin after graduation at the Janesville high school and is employed at Krause Milling Company, Milwaukee.
